Class Experience

Our Adult Beginner 2 Class is our second part to Adult Beginner Sewing. This course is 8 weeks and will build on the sewing skills. Each project will teach you more techniques and build your confidence in sewing. Here are the projects we will make during your 8 week class.

  • Eyeglass/ Sunglass Case
  • Decorative Envelope Pillow
  • 6 Pocket Tote (2 weeks)
  • Country Apron (2 weeks)*
  • A-line or pencil skirt (2 weeks)*

Country Apron Supplies: (Quilters cotton only)

  • 2 Yards fabric (Apron bodice, skirt and top ruffle)
  • 3 Yards fabric (for bottom ruffle, ties and band)
  • 8 yards double fold bias-tape for trim

A-Line or Pencil Skirt supplies:

  • 1 5/8 yard, 58" Wide fabric. No stretchy, silky or sheer fabrics please.
  • Zipper (9”-12”) for your for closure.

Class Requirements

  • Adult Beginner 1 or basic sewing machine operations. Thread a needle, wind a bobbin

Cancellation Policy
  • 2 or more weeks from start date, Full refund minus 7% processing fee.
  • Less than 2 weeks from start date, 50% refund minus 7% processing fee or Full account credit.
  • Less than 1 week from start date, No credit or refund will be offered.

What To Bring

  • 2 yards of lining fabric and 3 yards outer fabric for Country Apron
  • 1 5/8 yard of fabric and 9-12" multipurpose zipper for Simple Skirt (No stretchy, silky or sheer fabrics please)
